WHO WE ARE
A family recipe. Still hand-chopped and individually pleated since before Yang's.

WENZHOU • PARIS • BOSTON
Liping Yang grew up in Wenzhou, a coastal city in southeastern China known for its bold flavors and meticulous craft. Before coming to the United States, she trained as an Asian bakery chef in France — an experience that deepened her instinct for technique and precision.
In 1998, she immigrated to Boston, and her handmade dumplings quietly became the thing everyone looked forward to at every family gathering. Every filling washed, chopped, and mixed by hand. Every dumpling pleated eight folds, the way she's always done it.
Friends kept saying you should really sell these. Work and raising a family kept getting in the way. Finally, in 2016, she listened.
